Le Ponant is a sleek, three-masted sailing yacht. It can accommodate 32 guests and 34 crew members on board, offering more than one staff member per guest. The ship features 16 cabins spread across 4 decks.
Le Ponant features a solarium where guests can relax and soak up the sun while sailing. It also has a marina with a seawater pool. Guests can borrow snorkeling gear (fins, mask, snorkel), fishing equipment, a paddleboard, or a transparent kayak for water activities. Bicycles are also available for use during shore excursions.
Located on the Alizés Deck, the wellness area includes several facilities designed for rejuvenation. In the spa, guests can enjoy massages and organic treatments. The fitness room offers gym equipment and personalized guidance from a coach. Outdoor yoga sessions are held on the Sun Deck. Occasionally, the ship also hosts onboard lectures and guest speaker events.
Guests can enjoy drinks in the outdoor lounge area or at the Émeraude Bar, where Champagne and wines from various French regions—or inspired by cruise destinations—are served. Gourmet meals are offered in the panoramic restaurant Le Diamant. In the evening, it’s not uncommon to find entertainment there, including dance nights, cultural quizzes, theatrical performances, or live concerts.
All cabins on Le Ponant are luxurious and well-equipped, featuring a minibar, flat-screen TV, Bluetooth speaker, and air conditioning. Each one is designed to feel like your own private yacht. The Owner’s Suite is the largest at 603 square feet. The Alizés and Mistral Suites measure 420 and 290 square feet, respectively. The most affordable accommodations are the Mistral Cabins, measuring 151 square feet.
Cruises aboard Le Ponant are designed to minimize environmental impact. Sailing is prioritized whenever possible, and SCR filters are used to significantly reduce fine particle emissions. Single-use plastics are banned on board, and waste is rigorously sorted and managed.
