Launched in 2020, this small but luxurious vessel offers Mediterranean cruises as well as journeys through the Indian Ocean, North Atlantic, and Gulf of Mexico.
1-The Ship
Built between 2018 and 2020 by Vard shipyards in Romania and Norway, Le Bellot measures 430 feet long and 59 feet wide, with a gross tonnage of 9,976.
Its dimensions align with Ponant’s philosophy of offering intimate cruises that can reach destinations inaccessible to larger ships. Le Bellot carries only 184 passengers housed in 92 staterooms or suites spread across 4 of its 7 decks. A symbol of French luxury cruising, Le Bellot is ideal for travelers seeking elegance and exclusivity.
With 118 crew members, Le Bellot offers a guest-to-crew ratio of 3 to 2. Thanks to this outstanding service, the refined passenger spaces, and onboard amenities, the ship rivals any 5-star hotel.
2-Adult Activities and Entertainment
From Corsica, Greece, and the Seychelles to Zanzibar, the Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Iceland, Greenland, Canada, the US, and Mexico—Le Bellot offers a wide range of destinations. Each cruise provides a deep dive into the places visited.
At sea, expert lecturers introduce guests to the geography, ecosystems, and history of the regions explored. During shore excursions or anchorage, naturalist guides take guests closer to local wildlife and flora via Zodiac®, kayak, or paddleboard.
Le Bellot also offers all the pleasures of cruising: a spa, hammam, hair salon, fitness room, art gallery, kids' club, theater, swimming pool, and boutique provide relaxation, entertainment, and cultural enrichment.
3-Restaurants, Bars, and Lounges
Guests have two onboard dining options. On Deck 4, “Le Nautilus” offers refined French cuisine in an elegant setting. The wine list features a curated selection of the finest vintages.
On Deck 3, the grill restaurant offers a more casual atmosphere without sacrificing quality. Cold starters, cheese, and desserts are served buffet-style, while hot dishes are served à la carte.
For drinks, passengers can choose from three unique lounge environments. The main lounge includes a dance floor for festive evenings. The outdoor bar near the pool offers spectacular views. And the Blue Eye underwater lounge provides a multisensory experience—situated below the waterline, with whale eye–shaped portholes for observing marine life.
4-Accommodations
The 92 staterooms and suites aboard Le Bellot all feature balconies or private terraces with ocean views. With private space ranging from 205 to 484 square feet, these accommodations come in four categories: Deluxe, Prestige, Privilege, and the Owner’s Suite. All are suitable for couples with one child.
Each stateroom and suite includes individual climate control, satellite TV, minibar, desk, vanity, safe, satellite phone, 220V outlets, and unlimited Wi-Fi. Bathrooms feature Hermès toiletries and a hairdryer.
5-Environmental Protection
Le Bellot received the “Cleanship” label from Bureau Veritas in recognition of its efforts to minimize environmental impact. It features an advanced Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that drastically reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
Additionally, the yacht is equipped with shore power capabilities, allowing it to connect to port electricity grids where available—significantly lowering emissions while docked.
