1-The ship
The Getaway is 1,070 ft long and 131 ft wide, with 14 of its 18 decks accessible to passengers. It can carry 3,963 passengers and 1,646 crew.
2-Adult entertainment and activities
During the day, take a stroll along the Waterfront to admire the sea view. The Getaway also boasts a beautiful three-storey sports complex, including The Plank, a plank for moving forward over the ocean—a unique experience! There's also a climbing wall and spiral slide.
Get active on the basketball court, running track or fitness room! Relaxation is guaranteed with 4 swimming pools, whirlpools and treatments at the Mandara Spa with Spa Salt Room and Thermal Suite. As for the Spice H2O area, it's reserved for adults and lets you bask in the sun.
In the evening, try your luck at the games at the Getaway Casino, or enjoy shows, Broadway musicals and other entertainment at the Getaway Theater or magic shows at the Illusionarium. Not forgetting, of course, the many boutiques.
3-Children's activities and entertainment
NCL offers a daycare center with sensory games for 6/36-month-olds. Ages 3/12 can enjoy creative activities, sports and treasure hunts at Club Splash Academy. The 13/17 year-olds have plenty of entertainment during the day (table soccer, video games, TV screens) at Club Entourage and disco in the evening. The boat is also equipped with a video games room and a magnificent pirate-style Aquapark with slide and pool.
4-Gastronomy, bars and lounges
Norwegian Cruise Line offers 28 dining options aboard Getaway. Discover the Brazilian steakhouse Moderno Churrascaria, Wasabi for sushi and Cucina for the finest Italian dishes. Afterwards, enjoy a sweet treat at Dolce Gelato.
Among the fifteen or so bars and lounges, the Garden Café offers a view of the sea. Vodka aficionados can head to the Skyy Vodka Ice Bar. As for Sugarcane Mojito Bar, it's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a mojito on the Waterfront.
5-Cabins aboard the Norwegian Getaway
Choose an inside or outside cabin (150–172 sq. ft.) with two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. Balcony cabins are approximately 226 sq. ft.
King bed suites average between 237 and 581 sq. ft. Finally, The Haven suites allow you to travel in absolute luxury, with 24-hour butler service, concierge service and a private solarium.
6-Environment
Norwegian Cruise Line is ISO 14 001 certified, attesting to its commitment to preserving the environment. It is also committed to water conservation and management, waste reduction and fuel and energy efficiency.
