Nicko Cruises has a fleet of 19 cruise ships divided into 3 categories according to ship size and style.

 

- The Nicko Boutique category brings together small, luxurious ships with personalized interiors. The MS Heidelberg on the Danube, the MS Casanova on the Rhine, the MS Frederic Chopin and MS Katharina Von Bora on the Elbe and the MS Douro Prince on the Douro are all in this category.

 

- The Nicko Modern category comprises large cruise ships with 150 to 200 beds. These ships feature luminous decors and elegant, state-of-the-art furnishings. Ships in this category include MS President VIII on the Yangtze, MS Steigenberger MI and MS Steigenberger Omar El Khayam on the Nile, MS Bolero and MS Viktoria on the Danube, MS Rhein Melodie and MS Rhein Symphonie on the Rhine, and MS Seine Comtesse on the Seine.

 

- The Nicko Classic category brings together boats of different sizes, with a classic, elegant style. This category includes the MS Mekong Prestige and MS Thurgau Exotic II on the Mekong, the MS Douro Cruiser on the Douro, the MS Bellissima on the Danube, the MS River Art on the Rhine, the MS Florentina on the Vltava and the MS Tschitscherin on the Volga.

 

These ships all offer 4 to 5 star comfort. The ships in the fleet generally have 3 decks. The upper deck, or sun deck, is an open-air area where passengers can enjoy panoramic views of the regions they visit. The middle deck houses relaxation, entertainment and dining areas. The lower deck includes passenger cabins with direct access to the ship's reception.

 

Main ships

MS Casanova is a Nicko Boutique class ship, 103 m long and 9.7 m wide. With two dozen crew members, it can accommodate 96 passengers. The main language spoken on board is English. The ship's cabins are comfortably furnished and spacious. The upper deck features open-air cabins with French balconies. The main deck features both deluxe and classic cabins. Deluxe cabins are 16 m² in size. Each is furnished with a double bed measuring 1.60 m x 2.00 m, two mattresses or a sofa bed and a separate bed. Classic cabins are 12 m² in size, each with 2 comfortable beds. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom and toilet. All cabins are fully equipped: safe, SAT-TV, music system, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, etc. The ship also features a large lounge and a restaurant offering magnificent views of the outside world.

 

The MS President VIII is a Nicko Modern class ship, 147 m long and 20 m wide. This large ship has a crew of 185 and can accommodate 460 passengers. The main languages spoken on this ship are English and Chinese. The MS President VIII consists mainly of luxury cabins, each measuring 26.5 m2. Each cabin is luxuriously equipped, with satellite TV, safe, telephone, hairdryer and more. Everything has been designed to ensure the same level of comfort as in a luxury hotel: individual bathroom and toilet, air-conditioning system, lounge area, two separate hotel beds, etc. Passengers can also take advantage of the large indoor pool and wellness area.

 

MS Bellissima is one of the Nicko Classic Class ships. It is 110 m long and 11.4 m wide. With room for 132 passengers, the ship employs a crew of around 30. With the exception of the 24 m2 Premium cabin, equipped with a double bed with two mattresses and a sofa, all cabins are identical, measuring 13 m2, open to the outside and equipped with two beds. Each cabin is air-conditioned and includes a safe, satellite TV, telephone and hairdryer. Each cabin also has its own bathroom and toilet. The MS Bellissima has a terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor Jacuzzi for relaxing while admiring the beauty of the surrounding scenery.

 

Main destinations served by the company

On the Seine, the journey begins in Paris, offering passengers the chance to appreciate sites such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées. The journey continues to Normandy, with its highlands and deep-green meadows.

 

Cruises on the Danube take in the landscapes of several countries, including Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia. Cruises pass through the major cities of these countries: Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, Belgrade, etc.

 

On the Mekong River in Asia, the company introduces visitors to the landscapes of China, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Cruises on the Nile in Africa offer a glimpse of Egypt's historic sites and famous cities. From the ship, passengers can observe the country's capital, Cairo, the temples of Abu Simbel, the cities of Louksor and Aswan, and much more.
