The Carnival Spirit is 958 feet long and 105 feet wide. It features 12 decks, several of which are accessible to guests. The ship accommodates up to 2,680 passengers across 1,062 cabins and suites, with a crew of 930 providing onboard service.
Onboard the Carnival Spirit, adults can enjoy a wide range of entertainment and relaxation options. The Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™ offers a quiet space exclusively for adults, featuring a pool and hot tubs. The Cloud 9 Spa provides a variety of treatments, including massages, a sauna, and a steam room. Thrill-seekers can take on the Green Thunder waterslide—known for its dramatic drop.
Young cruisers are welcomed at Camp Ocean, which groups kids by age: Penguins (ages 2–5), Stingrays (6–8), and Sharks (9–11). Activities include games, arts and crafts, and movie screenings. Teens have their own dedicated spaces onboard for socializing and interactive games.
The Carnival Spirit offers a range of dining options to suit every taste. Guy’s Burger Joint serves up gourmet burgers, while BlueIguana Cantina features Mexican favorites. Guests can enjoy Asian cuisine at Bonsai Sushi, or indulge in fine dining at the Nouveau Restaurant. For drinks in a laid-back atmosphere, the RedFrog Pub offers a great selection of craft beers.
The ship offers a variety of cabin categories, from interior staterooms to spacious suites. All cabins include comfortable beds, air conditioning, a television, and ample storage. Suites come with added perks such as separate living areas, private balconies, and priority services.
The Carnival Spirit incorporates multiple technologies designed to reduce its environmental footprint. Onboard waste is carefully sorted, with portions recycled or responsibly treated. Most of the freshwater used during the cruise is generated via an advanced desalination system. The ship also features systems for reducing air emissions and treating wastewater, helping to protect marine ecosystems along its itineraries.
