The Carnival Freedom welcomes up to 2,980 passengers across 13 decks and features 1,490 cabins. This 951-foot-long and 115-foot-wide vessel is staffed by 1,180 crew members. It sails a variety of Caribbean, Mexican, and U.S. coastal itineraries, often departing from Miami, Florida.
While at sea, guests can enjoy three pools, seven outdoor hot tubs, the Twister waterslide, and an adults-only Serenity retreat. The onboard spa offers a wide range of treatments and massages, along with a sauna, steam room, beauty salon, and barber services.
From the moment you leave port, you can stay active with table tennis, volleyball, a fitness center, or classes like yoga, aerobics, and Pilates.
Entertainment options are plentiful both day and night. Visit the duty-free shops on Deck 5, browse the art gallery, or enjoy outdoor movies, the 70’s Dance Club, or the Babylon Casino (seating 484). Don’t miss the Victoriana Main Show Lounge, a three-level theater that seats 1,400 guests with musical productions and live performances.
Younger guests can splash around at the WaterWorks aqua park with its giant Twister waterslide. Age-specific kids’ clubs offer fun, safe activities: Camp Ocean (ages 2–11), Circle “C” (ages 12–14), and Club O2 (ages 15–17). Activities include arts and crafts, sports tournaments, video games, movies, and karaoke.
With eight restaurants on board, dining options abound. The Lido Deck buffet is included and serves global cuisine, including Mongolian Wok stir-fry. For an additional fee, enjoy specialties at the Steakhouse or fresh seafood at the Seafood Shack.
Among the dozen or so bars and lounges, the Habana Bar stands out with its Cuban-inspired music and atmosphere. If you’re into sports, head to the Sky Box Sports Bar for drinks and live games.
For budget-friendly options, choose an interior stateroom. For ocean views, select an ocean view or balcony cabin. All rooms include two twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower.
For more space and comfort, opt for a suite. Suites feature a private balcony, whirlpool tub in the bathroom, spacious closet, and convertible twin beds for a luxurious stay.
As part of its sustainability efforts, Carnival has eliminated single-use plastics on board, including straws and cups. Shampoos and shower gels are now provided in refillable dispensers to reduce waste.
