Summary of customer reviews for MSC Cruises

Company logo

MSC Cruises stands out with a unique signature blending Italian elegance and ultra-modern ships. Passengers are captivated by the spectacular design, featuring iconic spaces such as the lively indoor promenades, Swarovski crystal staircases, and innovations on the latest World Class ships, such as the World Promenade overlooking the sea or The Venom Drop @ The Spiral, one of the longest water slides at sea. Onboard, the experience is rich, with a strong Mediterranean identity: authentic Italian cuisine and specialty restaurants like Butcher’s Cut (steakhouse) or Kaito Teppanyaki (Japanese), appreciated for their warm atmosphere. Families also enjoy well-developed kids’ clubs, led by the mascot Doremi, for a fun and reassuring environment. MSC lets you tailor your cruise to your preferences, from an affordable vacation to a more exclusive experience with the MSC Yacht Club—a true “ship within a ship” featuring spacious suites, a butler, and private areas. Finally, the company offers a variety of ports of call, including its private island, Ocean Cay, beloved for its white-sand beaches and natural setting. An appealing combination of innovation, comfort, and the Italian good life, ideal for a vacation at sea that’s both lively and exotic. Find all the most popular tips here

Tips and advice
MSC Cruises

Here is a compilation of the most popular tips from our customers, 100% reliable, to enhance your onboard experience

  • The secret of "Status Match" : This is a unique opportunity offered by MSC: if you already have a loyalty card with another cruise line or hotel chain, MSC can grant you an equivalent tier in its own club for free. Simply fill out the online form before departure to immediately enjoy exclusive benefits (discounts, priority boarding, etc.).
  • Booking shows via the app : On newer ships (Meraviglia and World Europa classes), shows are very popular. The trick is to connect to the onboard Wi-Fi on the first day via the "MSC for Me" app to reserve your theater seats. This ensures you can attend the best performances without waiting.
  • The strategic choice of the "Fantastica" experience : When booking, opting for the "Fantastica" experience (rather than "Bella") offers superior comfort. Beyond a better cabin location, this choice allows you to prioritize your dinner time and includes breakfast service in your cabin, ideal for starting the day off right.

Mediterranean cruises often depart from the ports of Marseille in France, Genoa in Italy and Barcelona in Spain.

For Middle East cruises, Dubai is the main departure point, followed by Abu Dhabi and Doha. MSC cruises exploring Northern Europe and the Norwegian fjords depart from Copenhagen, Hamburg or the port of Warnemünde. Winter is the ideal time to cruise the Caribbean. Departures are from the United States, notably Miami and Port Canareval, as well as from ports such as Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre.
